University of Lapland: The Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland has a vibrant community of doctoral students working on various issues of legal science, but increasingly focusing on our faculty’s key research areas, namely law and justice in techno-socio-economic-environmental changes. Especially the research group Law, Technology and Design Thinking (LTDT) tackles issues arising from how the law reacts and provokes technological developments, to provide with novel solutions that are more workable for shaping the legal system in a way that fosters rather than stifle technological progress.
